Rule the world

been watching stardust again, stupid cousin of mine lost my disc so now i have to watch online. but that day jeremy and i just poped up at alex's house and started makaning mac, talk cock, play dota and lastly watch stardust.

i love that movie, it speaks so much of my current heart and portrays the very adventure my soul needs. not everyone is a prince but we all dream to be. been listening to Rule The World, theme song of stardust all the time. "yea you and i we can light up the sky, if you stay with me girl." and " you light the skies up above me" are the most enchanting lines ever.

i wonder why fantasy such as magic are the everlasting genre for stories. i guess our lives are simply to plain and mundane and killingly boring that we need this kind of space to spur our imagination. most of us dont live the dream when everytime we open our eyes we get the exciting day ahead of us. For me, my dreams are always sweeter than life.

I remember writing an essay about sunlight, they dont always represent hope. to me they are dream killers. forcing us t come back to reality. thats why i like starlight better, they remind you that the night is still long and that your dreams will continue. i dont ask for much in life, but why dont i get it. instead it gives me what i dont really want, maybe i am not appreciating life as what it is meant to be.

i have this feeling that i should go to cameron highlands for answers, somehow i think the antidote is there.
